Privacy Policy

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us:

• Soft Exit Calculator: the figures you enter (income, savings, debts, bills, one-time costs and your timeline), plus your name, email and optional phone number when you choose to send us your plan.
• Work With Us form: your name, email, optional phone number, social links or handles, a description of what you’re working on and where you need help, the team member you’d like to work with, and whether you agreed to the referral fee.
• Forms on other services: our rental intake, magazine notification and Elite Membership forms are hosted by Jotform, and bookings are made through cal.com. Those services collect what you enter on their own pages.
• Basic technical information, such as your browser type and the pages requested, that our hosting provider records in the ordinary course of running a website.

How we use it

• To prepare your Soft Exit plan, and to give you a PDF copy of it.
• To read your request, reply to you, and introduce you to the right team member.
• To run and improve the site, keep it secure, and meet our legal obligations.

Where your information goes

When you send your plan or submit the Work With Us form, the details are emailed to our team through our email delivery provider (Resend). We do not currently keep calculator or form submissions in a separate database; the copy lives in our email.

If you name a team member on the Work With Us form, we share your request with that person so they can respond. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

This site embeds or links to services run by others, including SafetyWing (the health insurance price widget), Jotform, cal.com, our shop at softlifeuniversity.com, TikTok, Patreon and Substack. They have their own privacy practices and may set their own cookies. At the time of writing we do not run advertising or analytics cookies of our own on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep requests only as long as we need them to respond to you, deliver what you asked for, and meet legal or accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing softerlifeconciergellc@gmail.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please don’t share sensitive details such as passwords or full card numbers through our forms.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
